Bike Ride: Sort of

? miles;  45 minutes;  ? mph;  hilly “terrain”

The weather was downright nasty in the Capital Area this morning (really, those Angelenos don’t know how good they could have it, if only there were a place to ride a bike).  Since I’m still trying to transition from fairweather fan to hardcore cyclist extraordinaire, I opted for a spinning class instead.  The bad news:  I had to get there by 6.  The good news:  my cycling cleats fit the pedals on the spin bikes!  It was nice to be able to have company for the “ride” and still get a great workout.  The instructor was motivational and helped me keep my focus, something I lose sometimes.

Favorite quote:  “Last time you when you sat down you felt better; this time, I want you to hur–  err work.  I was going to say hurt, but I don’t want to hurt you, I want to work you!”
